  1. I’m surprised that Claremont’s commentary on the controversial Memories are Hard, Man Act of 1980 didn’t make headlines outside of Canada.

  2. Canadian weighing in: I’d imagine this ties closely to the fact that voluntary intoxication is not a criminal defense in Canada.

    “Guy get’s bombed and throws a rock through a window” is roughly comparable to:
    “Hiker voluntarily eats human meat, becomes mystical creature and slays innocent people”
