  1. I will admit, Spider-Man and the X-Men had me tear up a bit. I haven’t had a school story really get to me since some especially stellar stories from Avengers Academy.
And I think what Miles said about it it really important – it does sort of retroactively change the entire series. Up until now it felt kind of like nothing but a Marvel comedy series – very cartoony, and well written enough to have great story flow – but to see the change and genuine affection and respect that’s bloomed in the students at the end makes you go back and give greater weight to all the moments in the series that seeded that.
Also I kinda love the idea of the X-Kids going out on a regular patrol with Professor S – I would LOVE to see that being a thing – or at least a thing referenced too – post Secret Wars. Young X-Men making connections outside their corner of the world makes me happy, like with Evan and Deadpool.

((also it was…kinda tugging at my curiosity the entire show, but what does the rest of Miles’ t-shirt say?))

      1. I burst out laughing as soon as I saw the “Welcome” over Magneto’s head. That is the best shirt I have seen in ages. Is it a custom job or commercially available?

  2. Off topic…. would the Rachel and Miles version of Earth-616 where Dr. Peter Corbeau swam across an ocean and Harvey and Janet are celebrities be designated Earth-144? Based on the first episode being released in April of 2014?

  3. Could Daken’s changing look be a result of his lost healing factor? He’s slowly starting to look his age, and eventually like an older Wolverine.

  4. I can’t wait to get the Spider-man and the X-men TPB. I loved Aaron’s run on Wolverine and the X-men, adding Spider-man to the mix just sounds delightful.
