Jay & Miles X-Plain the X-Men

Hot Damn, It’s the Whole Thing!

With under a week to go until our 10th birthday party, we’ve decided that the time has come to reveal Colleen Coover’s J&M 10th Anniversary print in its full glory! CHECK IT OUT:
11×17″ prints will be available at the party at Books With Pictures, for $20 each. We’re doing a run of 150 and not planning on reprinting this, so if you want one, now’s a good time to get in touch with someone who’ll be at the party!

  1. The art’s wonderful! But I wondered why Count Nefaria is there and it took me longer than it should’ve to figure out I’ve got the wrong Count.

  2. Hi – firstly, congrats on the 10 year anniversary. 2nd, i just finished ep 166 where its mentioned you’d save covering the Mystique backup story from X-Factor Annual 6 titled Tribute the Third to do with Peter David’s other tribute stories. What number is that episode – i can’t locate it on the website?

I ask mainly because that Mystique story is one of my all-time Favourite X-comics.

      1. Oh awesome! Trying to locate it was driving me bonkers! i’ll be ecstatic when y’all do cover it – i love when X-books do quiet introspective moments whether its Tribute the Third (i never put together that it was connected to other annual stories despite the Third in the name) or Uncanny X-Men (1963) #297’s Prof X being taught to rollerskate storyline with Jubilee. FYI, in addition to listening to giant stretches of this podcast over the last couple years, i run a comic book club for a few friends and when we cover X-titles, this podcast is one of my go-to’s for important additional context or checking for extra details that i might have missed.
