  1. Well, actually (yes, I went there), it was never stated that Peter Parker got de-aged by OMD, a lot of people assumed that it happened for some reason and superheroes never age properly anyway.

  2. I LOVED Spider-Man and the X-Men. I went into it very skeptical that it would be any good, but it turned out to be quite funny.

  3. I LOVE Nauck faces ;_; Own 2 headsketches from him. Not huge into comics overall so I discovered him on youtube where he post progress vids. Nightcrawler is the first book Ive read of his haha.

Haven’t tackled my few books of this week yet but I’m glad the SIXIS tie in I got in Amazing XM will be decent.

  4. The history of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver’s origins and parentage is a cold open topic I’d love to hear you do, what with the Whizzer and the magical Roma dad who imprisoned their souls in dolls and Magneto being their dad and then not. And did I mention The Whizzer? Because he’s fun to mention.

  5. Well since you’re not following Spider-man it makes your Spiderman and his Amazing Friends references kind of amusing. In the Spiderverse crossover they just killed the entire cast of the cartoon.

Though to be fair the 60’s cartoon Spider-man and the Ultimate Spider-man cartoon are still alive and teaming up with Miles Morales. 🙂

  6. Is that Pete Wisdom cosplay, Rachel? Even if it is not, it just looks great.

Good to know someone other than me likes this run of X-Force (It is just recognizing yourself in all these crazy people, and learning to cope from them) and Destiny too 🙂

  7. Spider-man and the X-men is out this week! Crap I live in the 3rd World, I can’t keep up.
And what I can keep up is AXIS (extra-legally, comics are expensive in the 3rd World) and fuck, AXIS wants to destroy me. I literally only care about Evan in AXIS and I think he’s dead, Apocalypse killed him; and then he killed one of Evan’s only friends

    1. Maki…I’ll be honest I’ve read every issue of Axis and I keep feeling there were weird jumps between issues…but I think Apocalypse is just the morally-inverted Evan.

So theoretically when they finally reverse this nonsense (or reveal it’s all happening inside the Red Skull’s head or something) Evan should be back.

    1. It’s surprisingly solid. The concept isn’t bad – a “unity team” that has X-Men and standard Avengers running around together sounds fun. While it’s not random antics like AvX, the stories have been solidly enjoyable.

Also, Remender doesn’t mind wrecking the world a few times to tell his stories. That alone is worth the price, really.

  8. You know, given the times, Mystique and Destiny could easily pop up in the upcoming Agent Carter series! They’d be excellent foils and with Mystique being a popular character from the films…

Oh hang on, movie rights 🙁
