WHOA DANG ROSE CITY COMIC CON IS THIS WEEKEND!
Here’s a handy cheat sheet for what we’ll be up to all weekend:
Click through below for details!
We’ll be tabling at booth 815, with Al Ewing. Look for the big Days of Future Past wall (assuming we can get the stand done in time). We’ll have a ton of merch, including zines (including a new one!), t-shirts, and buttons; as well as the usual bad sketches and sharpie knuckle tats.
SATURDAY AT THE SHOW:
12:00 PM – JAY & MILES X-PLAIN THE X-MEN LIVE – Panel Room 5
- What it says on the tin: a live recording featuring an hour of ins, outs, retcons, and Q&A; with special guests Cullen Bunn and Greg Pak!
3:00 PM – WE’LL RETCON THIS LATER – Panel Room 9 (Jay only)
- Continuity mavens Al Ewing (Mighty Avengers), Douglas Wolk (Reading Comics), and Jay Edidin (Jay & Miles X-Plain the X-Men) discuss writing, reading, and finding buried treasure in shared-universe superhero timelines.
5:00 PM – COMICS & DISABILITY – Panel Room 9 (Jay only)
- How is disability represented across different comics genres? How might comics help support disability rights and neurodiversity? We’ll address these questions and more in a thought-provoking panel on the relationship between disability and comics.
