  1. Hmm, for some reason I thought that Sari was an ex-wife of Pete’s, not just an ex-whatever she is. Live and learn.

Thank you Al for describing her accent as including “the place that Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins is from”! Perfect! 🙂

In terms of team numbers, wasn’t there a thing just before the Battleworlds event in 2014/15 whereby basically every single person on planet Earth was an Avenger. “We are Avengers” or something like that? So their roster might plausibly be at 7.3 BILLION! Even Madrox isn’t going to bulk up the X-Men’s numbers THAT much!

As ever the Phalanx/Technarch thing gets confused as Warlock was never part of a hive mind, but Douglock was and so was able to lose his wireless hub thingie without ill effects. Handy that Sidri are Phalanx compatible.. Imagine how frustrating it would be if the Sidri had been Mac and Douglock Windows! (Based on Kitty deleting memory files via some sort of Windows like file structure back in #100 or so)

And as for next episode… After Dani, thus goes Kitty? Honestly, if I had a nickel for every time an anti-authoritarian young woman associated with the X-Men joined the most authoritarian “Who are we reporting too this week?” grey ops organisation around I’d have two nickels… which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice*

    * and would also be completely useless to me as no one would take nickels in the UK.

  2. Since you counted the Great Lakes Avengers as Avengers, I was wondering if you also counted the Great Lakes X-Men as X-Men (they’re the same team, but they changed names a few times since they were infringing on Tony Stark’s trademark).

And if you counted X-Factor and X-Force as X-Men as well, I wonder how much the numbers would change.

But now I have so many questions about how Miles did all of that. Did you just go into the 616, or did you count the 2099 teams and the like as well? Did you count clones and time displaced versions of characters more than once? Did you count the Brood clone X-Men team that’s lost in deep space separately from their earth bound selves?

    1. I’m sure we’re all surprised he isn’t from Scotland.

I suppose there’s a small chance that Kitty is supposed to sound like an outsider failing to imitate the local slang. I mean, if you want to No-Prize this.
