  1. I want to welcome the glorious return of David Wynne. This art is delightful and finally makes sense an hour into the episode.

  2. I must admit that X-Men: Red for me immediately calls to mind an alternate universe along the lines of Superman: Red Son (but with the X-Men, obviously).

    1. That’s what I’m been doing since Secret Wars. It’s the only way I can read X-men now. I miss Cyclops (was right).

      But I really liked Red.

  3. I love the way Australians say Gambit. I didn’t even realise we said it that way until I heard Hugh Jackman say it to an American. I think you have to have the American accent beside the Australian one to hear it. He also does it when doing Wolverine’s accent, which is even funnier. “Gyaamb’t”.

Also, my kids love The Deep. It’s a good show. I didn’t know Tom Taylor was on it.

  4. Astonis… Red episode! I’ve been a fan of Tom’s work since the first issue of Injustice, and I’m really happy to have him on a X-men title.

    But…

The talk didn’t have enough Jonathan, the best Wolverine ever.

Shame on you, Jay and Miles.

    Shame on you.

  5. I’m really excited to have Tom writing Jean and the new X-Men team. But finding out he used to be a street juggler pushed him to new levels of adoration for me.

  6. I loved the first TPB of All-New Wolverine but haven’t gotten around to reading the others yet. Are there spoilers for this and for X-Men Red in this episode?

    1. We do talk about events that happen in the rest of ANW and in Red #1, albeit in relatively vague terms. If you’re very spoiler conscious I’d skip this one for now; if you’re only mildly so, should be fine!

EDIT: …except for one very major spoiler from ANW’s Enemy of the State II storyline and a slightly less major one from Immune. So – maybe best to hold off on this episode until you’ve read at least the former and maybe the latter.
