Congratulations on almost a year of episodes! Stay awesome!
Oh man. #199 was one of my very first issues of X-Men, during the X-Men Classics reruns (which made this a particularly special episode for me!), and I remember being SO CONFUSED by Val Cooper and Lee Forrester. I have a lot of nostalgia for this art, but distinctive faces are not one of its strong suits.
I haven’t commented in a few episodes, but the “Trial of Magneto” run was always a great one so I thought I’d stop by and say you two did a great job yet again. Also, thanks for explaining Jaspers, who is a character that, in my 25+ years of reading X-Men, I never really followed up on or had much interest in. At least now his motivations make more sense.
I sense “X-Factor” on the horizon, although I’ve never been a fan of the first 8-10 issues. You guys tend to make me see storylines I previously disliked in a new light though, so I’ll look forward to those episodes.
The Weezy-and-Walt run of X-Factor is easily my favorite 80s Marvel book, mostly for sentimental reasons, but it is ROUGH getting off the ground.
And just think, in late 2016 we may get TWO episodes to cover the Judgment Wars! (Evil laugh)
