I know he did covers in the 90s & one Elseworlds story, but the super fun alien designs Alan Davis has here makes me wish they’d just let him revamp the Legion of Super Heroes with all-new characters & designs. It’d be so fun!
Hi there! I was just wondering: is there any particular piece of X-Men non-fiction you like a lot? I am looking for books and essays that offer various interpretations on the X-Men: about the themes, identity, etc.
Yes definitely definitely this!! And also when will the x-perts Jay and Miles be writing one?
Alan Davis is just light years ahead as a storyteller and artist. I love all the detail… Look at Cerise’s musculature compared to Kitty! The body language in their exchange about children (one of the most hilarious few panels to my mind… Captures all of Kitty’s insecurities and Cerise’s alien nature). And Kurt’s tail is always up to something… 🙂
