Looking at the panels here, I feel like maybe the big M reveal should have been in a story where the characters’ visual ages are more consistent. Because based on, say, the second image here, the twelfth one doesn’t feel like “M isn’t really Monet St. Croix, but two younger girls” as much as “M is actually two Monets St. Croix”.
