I would love to see better representation of various disabilities in comics I think it is very difficult to do in mainstream superhero comics. Within the X-Men, specifically, it becomes hard to ignore characters like Forge and Healer among others. Frankly, I’m surprised that Karma still has a prosthetic leg. I also don’t recall seeing Hellion for a couple of years. Is he still missing his hands?
This also makes me worry that if they bring Blindfold back she’ll still be missing her eyes. The implications of that are disturbing.
